Previously, Dan was an Associate with Starwood Capital Group, having worked extensively on the acquisition of Société du Louvre and Groupe Taittinger, which included a portfolio of over 800 hotels as well as extensive luxury goods holdings.  

Currently, Dan is also a member of KSL's Investment Committees.

Prior to Starwood, Dan was an Analyst at Shorenstein Co., LLC. Dan holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.

Previously, Kevin served as Associate General Counsel of Royal Gold, Inc. from 2009 to 2011 and as Senior Corporate Counsel for Newmont Mining Corporation from 2005 to 2009. Kevin began his legal career in 2002 as an Associate in the Corporate and Securities Department of Brownstein Hyatt & Farber, P.C.  

Kevin is a former member of the Board of Trustees of the Legal Aid Foundation of Colorado.  

Kevin holds a B.A. from Holy Cross and a J.D. from the University of Denver.

Previously, Sam was an investment banking analyst at Goldman Sachs where she focused on commercial real estate financing.

Sam holds a BBA from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.

Previously, Carly worked as a Director at Trailborn, where she helped launch the brand and open their first five hotels. Earlier in her career, she held positions in product management and marketing at Microsoft.

Carly holds an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. from Duke University.

With more than 20 years of experience in private equity real estate, Sara brings a proven track record of leadership at world-class asset management firms. Sara joined KSL from Goldman Sachs Asset Management, where she was a Managing Director and the Co-Head of Real Estate Alternatives Capital Formation across Europe and the Middle East. In her role, she was responsible for overseeing business development, capital raising and investor relations for GSAM real estate strategies.

Prior to joining GSAM, Sara was a Principal within Blackstone’s Real Estate Institutional Client Solutions team based in London. Sara focused on Blackstone Real Estate’s capital raising, investor relations and new business development initiatives in Europe. Earlier in her career, Sara led the capital raising efforts of Brockton Capital and worked at The Carlyle Group in London, Paris and Madrid as a real estate investment professional.

Sara holds a B.A. in Business Administration from ESADE Business School and an MBA from Columbia Business School.

Previously, Stacy was an Audit Senior at Deloitte and Touche LLP.

Stacy is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Master of Accountancy and a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Denver.

Ted Seides is the founder of Capital Allocators, a platform that includes podcasts, gatherings, education, and advisory. Mr. Seides launched the Capital Allocators podcast in 2017, which has since become widely recognized as the top institutional investing-focused podcast. In September 2024, Mr. Seides published “Private Equity Deals,” his third book, which includes a collection of case studies exploring the stories behind some of the most notable transactions in the private equity industry.

Mr. Seides previously worked under David Swensen at the Yale Investments Office, invested directly at three of Yale’s managers and co-founded and served as Co-CIO of Protégé Partners, a multibillion-dollar alternative investment firm that invested in and seeded small hedge funds.

Hal joined KSL in 2009 after completing his JD/MBA at Duke's Fuqua School of Business and Duke Law School (magna cum laude). While at Duke, Hal completed two summer internships with KSL.

Hal currently serves as Head of European Capital Solutions and is a member of KSL's Investment Committees.

Hal holds a B.S. in Business Administration & Accounting from Washington & lee University (magna cum laude, L.K. Johnson Scholar) and is a CFA Charterholder.

Previously, Eileen was with Boston Consulting Group.

Eileen holds a B.S. in Economics, magna cum laude, from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with concentrations in Real Estate, Operations and Marketing.

Steve is a co-founder of KSL and currently serves as its Chief Operating Officer. Steve serves on the firm's Management Committee and Investment Committees.

Prior to KSL, Steve acted as KSL's predecessor's outside counsel since 2002. Beginning in 1995, he was a partner of Brownstein Hyatt & Farber, P.C., where he served as Chair of the Corporate and Securities Department and as a member of the firm's Executive Committee.  From 1990 through 1995, Steve was with the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP, becoming a partner in 1993. He began his legal career as an associate with Cravath Swaine & Moore in 1987. Steve is the former Chairman of the Board of Directors of Special Olympics Colorado.

Steve holds a J.D. from the University of Chicago and a B.A. in Economics, magna cum laude, from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.  Steve is a member of the board of directors of the American Hotel & Lodging Association.
